The 4th World's Large Rivers Conference will take place from 3rd to 7th August 2020 in Moscow, Russia.

 

The conference will be organised by MSU - Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia, and

BOKU - University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria.

 

Local Co-Organisers are

the Russian Geographical Society,

the Pan-Eurasian Experiment,

the Russian Hydrometeorological Society, and

the Russian National Committee IHP.

 

Topics include;

- Hydrology, Hydraulics & Water Quality

- Sediment Transport & River Morphology

- Ecology & Restoration

- Integrated River Management

 

Special focus will be given this time to Climate Change and its impact - not only in general, but also specifically related to Russian and Arctic Rivers.

 

This conference will also encompass the Young Scientist Summer School, which is supported by INTAROS.
